Me and my Great Dane, Duke, absolutely love our Midwest Homes for Pets Ginormous Single Door 54-Inch Dog Crate! This thing is huge and perfect for Duke’s size. The drop pin construction was a bit tricky to assemble, but luckily I had my husband to help me out. It’s definitely a two-person job, but once it’s put together, it’s super sturdy. We didn’t get the divider panel, but honestly, we don’t need it. The giant single door allows plenty of space for Duke to enter and exit comfortably.
The metal design is durable and can withstand Duke’s strength. I especially love the three heavy duty secure slide-bolt latches per door. There’s no way Duke can escape from this crate! And when accidents happen, the removable plastic pan makes clean up a breeze. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with this dog crate and would highly recommend it to any XXL dog breeds like ours.

Let me tell you, as an owner of a Mastiff named Brutus, finding a crate big enough for him has been a struggle. But then I came across the Midwest Homes for Pets Ginormous Single Door 54-Inch Dog Crate and my search was over! This crate is massive – measuring at 54 inches long by 37 inches wide by 45 inches tall. And it can hold up to 90 pounds – perfect for Brutus.
The drop-pin construction may require two people to assemble, but trust me, it’s worth it. This crate is incredibly strong and secure thanks to the patented “L” bar on top panel that prevents the side panels from bowing inward after assembly. And with three heavy duty slide-bolt latches per door, there’s no way Brutus is getting out of this crate without my permission.
